Lazii — Privacy Policy

Lazii is a personal fitness companion that connects to your WHOOP account (with your explicit permission) to display your activity, sleep, and recovery data, and to power team and progress features. This policy explains what data Lazii accesses, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Who we are

Lazii is operated by an independent developer. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at namadko@gmail.com.

2. Data we access

When you connect your WHOOP account, Lazii requests read-only access to the following data through the official WHOOP API, and only after you authorize it on WHOOP's consent screen:

Profile — your name and email, used to identify your account in the app.
Workouts — activity type, duration, distance, calories, heart rate, and strain.
Sleep — sleep duration, stages, and performance.
Recovery — recovery score, resting heart rate, and heart-rate variability.
Cycles — daily strain and related summaries.
Body measurements — height, weight, and max heart rate (if granted).

Lazii does not access your WHOOP password or any data beyond the scopes you approve.

3. How we use your data

To display your daily activity, sleep, and recovery in the app.
To calculate progress, experience points, and coins.
To power team features, such as comparing activities against shared training plans.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

4. How your data is stored

Lazii is currently a personal prototype. Your WHOOP data is stored locally on your own device or local server and is used only to render the app for you. We do not operate a central database that aggregates users' personal health data.

5. Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except as required to operate the WHOOP integration itself (data is retrieved from WHOOP under WHOOP's terms) or where required by law.

6. Your choices and control

You can disconnect Lazii from your WHOOP account at any time from the WHOOP app's data/app-access settings, which immediately revokes Lazii's access.
When you disconnect, Lazii stops retrieving new data, and locally stored data can be cleared by signing out or removing the app.

7. Data retention

Data is retained only while your account is connected and is removed when you disconnect or clear the app's data.

8. Children's privacy

Lazii is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
